針對我國糧食安全的重大需求和生命科學的前沿問題,本課題組主要圍繞農作物和園藝作物中兩個重點問題展開。一個是探尋作物生長發(fā)育中影響產量和品質的重要性狀:株型發(fā)育(分蘗、株高、穗型等)和籽粒形成(花/穗建成、籽粒發(fā)育、品質等)。二是圍繞 “作物的免疫識別和抗病機制” 這一關鍵科學問題,以小麥赤霉病,辣椒疫病,十字花科根腫病為研究方向,探索細菌、卵菌、真菌等病原微生物如何逃避宿主免疫系統(tǒng)的識別,植物如何進化出復雜的免疫系統(tǒng)來抵抗病原菌的侵染。同時,課題組還在土壤微生物群落多樣性與植物抗病力方面進行探索,為綠色農業(yè)和可持續(xù)發(fā)展農業(yè)提供理論支持和技術支撐。
